The 2023 edition of Global Gaming Expo, better known as G2E, kicked off at The Venetian Expo overnight, with organizers advising strong exhibitor and attendee numbers.

At a press conference held for attending media on Monday (Las Vegas time), Maureen Beddis, Senior Vice President of the American Gaming Association, and Korbi Carrison, G2E Event Vice President at RX, said this year’s show will cover 269,000 square feet of exhibition space and showcase 368 exhibitors. This is up from 252,000 square feet and 350 exhibitors last year.

There are also high hopes that attendance will exceed last year’s figure of 25,000.

The press conference was attended by around 50 members of the media from around the world in The Venetian Expo’s press room.

G2E 2023 will run for four days from 9 to 12 October, with new features this year including a new iGaming Zone aimed at bringing together iGaming solution providers to explore the future of the online casino space.

An expanded G2E Networking Lounge is also providing opportunities for the G2E community to connect.

This year is also the first featuring G2E’s recently launched new branding, which organizers said at the time reflects gaming’s momentum and transformation, “adding to the forward-looking energy of the expo that will be felt on the show floor and beyond.”
