Genting Singapore has named its long-time Chief Financial Officer, Ms Lee Shi Ruh, as President of Resorts World Sentosa, effective 1 September 2023.
Ms Lee, who has spent more than a decade as CFO of RWS and more recently served as Chief People Officer, will report directly to RWS Chairman and CEO Tan Hee Teck, tasked with assisting him in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Singapore integrated resort, managing its financial affairs and shaping and developing its people and culture strategy.
Genting Singapore said Ms Lee’s appointment as RWS President supports the establishment of the company’s core leadership team with the vision to strengthen its momentum in building long-term and sustainable growth strategies. Her appointment is also part of the leadership succession planning for the company, Genting Singapore added.
“I warmly welcome Shi Ruh as President of RWS,” said Tan Hee Teck.
“She has been a bedrock of our top management team in the last decade and is respected by our entire RWS community. She will provide strong leadership to the entire team and assist in building the strategic capabilities of the company.”
RWS previously appointed former Singapore Business Federation CEO Lam Yi Young as Deputy CEO in January, only for him to resign within six months.
