On Thursday evening, a man was found dead in a room at the Parisian Hotel in Macau. The Macau Judicial Police has said they have found the incident suspicious and are now investigating it as a homicide.

At 5:42pm Thursday afternoon, the Macau Judiciary Police (PJ) received a report from the Fire Services Department that a man’s body had been found in a room at the Parisian Hotel, with lacerations to the head and body spots.

Judiciary Police arrived at the scene and quickly investigated, initially noting that the deceased had lacerations to his head and concluding that the cause of death was “suspicious”.

They later completed forensics at the scene and took a man away from the hotel at 11:00pm. Preliminary information is that the deceased is a native of mainland China.
