Low-cost Philippines airline Cebu Pacific said this week that its flight capacity to Cebu will reach 129% of pre-COVID levels by June as it continues to ramp back up in the wake of the pandemic.
The additional capacity will see Cebu Pacific’s combined domestic and international routes operating to Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) reach 28, including daily direct flights between Cebu and Taipei from 23 June. The airline previously announced it would operate direct flights from Cebu to Naga and Cebu to Hong Kong starting 26 March and resume flights to Narita from 1 May.
Cebu is home to recently opened integrated resort NUSTAR and the under-constriction Emerald Bay, said to be a takeover target of Solaire owner Bloomberry Resorts Corp.

“We are excited to further expand our Cebu hub to connect more travelers to some of the world’s best beaches and islands.”
The updated Cebu schedule comes after Cebu Pacific last week announced a raft of additional routes to and from Clark, including daily flights to Incheon, South Korea and four flights a week to Taipei, Taiwan.
