A delegation of more than 100 Hong Kong media representatives and government tourism officials spent the past weekend exploring Macau’s integrated resorts and tourist hotspots as part of a familiarization tour organized by the Macao Government Tourism Office.
The delegation, comprising over 60 delegates of travel agencies and cross-border transport operators, plus 30 members and representatives of travel social networks, online media and travel bloggers, visited dozens of sites during their trip on 10 and 11 February, including integrated resorts Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, Wynn Palace, MGM Cotai, City of Dreams, The Londoner Macao and Galaxy Macau.
They also took in immersive art space Artelli at the City of Dreams and teamLab SuperNature at The Venetian Macao, plus tourist sites such as The Historic Centre of Macao, the Macao Grand Prix Museum and the Ruins of St Paul’s.
The MGTO said the two-day program aimed to introduce Macau’s latest tourism products to the Hong Kong Market, helping propel the cultural tourism development of both cities while jointly developing the market of twin-destination travel to Hong Kong and Macau.
