A group representing Kazuo Okada took over the premises of Philippines integrated resort Okada Manila on Tuesday, with operating entity Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc (TRLEI) accusing them of “employing brute force and intimidation to compel key legitimate officers to vacate the premises.”
The takeover was prompted by the recent issue by the Supreme Court of the Philippines of a Status Quo Ante Order (SQAO) to TRLEI which ordered restoration of the composition of the Board of Directors to its 2017 lineup – before the dispute between Mr Okada and TRLEI’s parent company Universal Entertainment Corp that led to his ouster.
