Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands has been named the second most photographed hotel in the world on Instagram according to a survey by printing firm Inkifi.
Part of the company’s 2022 Instagram Travel Guide, the survey was compiled based on the total number of posts per hashtag for locations around the world.
The locations were then ranked to reveal the most popular destinations on Instagram across a range of categories.
Among the most popular and photogenic hotels, Marina Bay Sands came in second with 1,875,600 posts in 2022, behind only Dubai’s Burj Al Arab Jumeirah with 2,553,515 posts. Singapore also ranked number 10 on the list of most posted skylines.
Integrated resorts featured heavily on the hotels list, with Caesars Palace and MGM Grand in Las Vegas ranking third and fourth respectively, while Wynn Las Vegas and The Venetian Las Vegas also made the top 10.
