DFS, an operator of luxury shopping malls, is to be Melco Crown Entertainment’s retail partner for phase one of the latter’s City of Dreams resort on Cotai.
The shopping and dining area will be known as The Boulevard. The facility will be part of the first phase opening due in mid-2009. It will feature 85,000 square feet of retail space offering designer fashion, ready to wear clothing from famous brands, accessories, jewellery, watches and beauty products, all in distinct zones.
“Through their extensive experience in the region, DFS have a deep understanding of the core customer demographic that will be visiting City of Dreams,” said Lawrence Ho, co-chairman and CEO of MPEL.
DFS is also a partner for LVS in the boutique-style Four Seasons mall next door to City of Dreams.
