Clarion Gaming, organizer of the world’s largest gaming industry trade show ICE London, has announced a series of key changes to its executive team including the appointment of Alex Pratt as Group Managing Director.
Pratt, who helped pioneer the development of iGaming Business, takes on the senior role following the departure of Kate Chambers, who Clarion says has now ceased all consulting with the company in order to seek other opportunities.
Stuart Hunter has also assumed the role of Managing Director with direct responsibility for all of Clarion’s industry events and brands.
“It goes without saying that these are extremely difficult and challenging times for many people employed in the international gaming industry,” said Hunter.
“The Clarion Gaming brands, comprising both live and digital services, have been able to grow and be successful due to the tremendous on-going support shown by our international customers working across all verticals.
“My focus is to accelerate Clarion Gaming’s development into an integrated, customer-first, Omni-Channel service provider which has live events as one of its key foundation stones. The overarching objective is to help the global gaming industry rise to the challenges presented by the ‘new normal’ and to exit the pandemic in the best possible shape.
“As a division, we stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the industry and recognize the extreme difficulties certain sectors have and continue to experience. It’s my pledge to ensure the global gaming industry is supported, engaged and consulted in relation to the future direction and opportunities created by the team at Clarion Gaming and I am always available to discuss any issues impacting our customers that we can help with.”
Clarion also runs ICE Asia, ICE North America and ICE Africa, and was the company behind the Japan Gaming Congress in Tokyo.
