Singapore’s Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA), has given Weike Gaming Technology a full gaming machine manufacturer’s licence, and approved the Weike Infinity gaming machine together with a series of Weike’s 25-lines and 50-lines slot games. Weike now joins a small group of international manufacturers that are licensed in Singapore to supply the two new casinos that have recently opened in the world’s newest regulated casino jurisdiction.
Commenting on the granting of the licence and the approvals, David Kinsman, CEO of Singapore-based Weike said, “It’s a great honour to now have achieved the milestone of a full manufacturer’s licence in our home country.
“Singapore had established the world’s highest regulatory standards, and it’s a significant achievement for a company such as ours to meet those requirements and be judged suitable,” added Mr Kinsman.
“The standards are so high both for probity and technical requirement, that the achievement of a Singapore licence is a significant asset to any company in our industry”
Weike has delivered machines to both Singapore casino resorts and it will be showcasing its newest international games and packaged links in that market. Weike is also planning to launch its METG range of electronic gaming tables into the Singapore casino market later this year.
“Weike also does very well in Singapore clubs” Mr Kinsman said.
“We have established a loyal following with Singapore club machine players across our country, and we are looking at that success flowing on to our casino offer to players. Singapore has been a very strong market for slot machines for many years. Both casino resorts can look forward to slots being a very strong contributor to their profits”.
