Inside Asian Gaming and G2E Asia organizer Reed Exhibitions have announced that the inaugural official G2E Asia Awards will be held at Macau’s newest integrated resort, MGM Cotai, on Tuesday 15 May 2018.

The awards co-organizers have also announced that the official G2E Asia Awards website at G2EAsiaAwards.com is now live, with public nominations currently open for all of the 12 awards categories. Nominations can be made by any member of the public visiting G2EAsiaAwards.com, clicking on “AWARDS” and completing the nomination form.

Nominations are open until 6 April 2018 at which time the judging panel will begin the process of determining the official nominees for the official inaugural G2E Asia Awards.

The inaugural official G2E Asia Awards, a prestigious formal dinner event to be held in the Ballroom at MGM Cotai, will recognize excellence and innovation within Asian gaming while celebrating the success and outstanding contributions of not only gaming but also the non-gaming aspects of the entertainment industry in Asia.

The 12 awards categories are as follows:

1. BEST B2B DIGITAL PRODUCT SOLUTION
2. BEST CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY CONTRIBUTION
3. BEST LOTTERY SOLUTION
4. BEST INDUSTRY RISING STARS (Maximum of 5 winners)
5. BEST VIP GAMING PROMOTER
6. BEST B2B DIGITAL PLATFORM AND SOFTWARE SOLUTION
7. BEST ELECTRONIC GAMING SOLUTION (Slots and ETGs)
8. BEST INDUSTRY INNOVATION
9. BEST TABLE GAME SOLUTION
10. BEST GAMING FLOOR
11. BEST INDUSTRY SUPPLIER
12. BEST INTEGRATED RESORT

The G2E Asia Awards – the official awards of G2E Asia – will be judged by a jury of peers with around 40 judges expected to take part in 2018 from a wide variety of industry sectors. Judges will be recused from voting in any categories they or their organizations are nominated for.

“After 12 years covering the Asian gaming industry, IAG is absolutely thrilled to be co-organizing the G2E Asia Awards alongside G2E Asia – and what better venue to host it than the newest integrated resort in town, MGM Cotai,” said Inside Asian Gaming CEO Andrew W Scott. “Our team has put an enormous effort into making the event one to remember with a superb venue, world-class entertainment and sumptuous food. But most importantly it will be a night to honor the best of the best in our industry.”

Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions China, Josephine Lee, added, “Reed Exhibitions is thrilled to collaborate with Inside Asian Gaming in presenting the inaugural G2E Asia Awards at Macau’s newest integrated resort, MGM Cotai. The G2E Asia Awards are the official awards of Asia’s number one key gaming industry trade show and conference, G2E Asia, and we expect it to become a regular fixture on the annual industry calendar. We look forward to welcoming our industry friends to this special night.”

A number of sponsorship opportunities have already been taken up for the inaugural official G2E Asia Awards, which will be announced this week, but some opportunities still remain. Visit G2EAsiaAwards.com for more.
