The Asian Poker Tour (APT) and Hong Kong Poker Players’ Association (HKPPA) have announced a partnership agreement to live stream APT events in Chinese, starting with this month’s APT Championships Philippines 2018. The stream will broadcast in Hong Kong and mainland China through HKPPA’s new Douyu channel.
HKPPA will also host satellites at their poker room to support various APT events throughout the year, starting with the APT Championships Macau 2018 which will be held at Macau Billionaire Poker in Babylon Casino from 25 April to 6 May 2018.
The HKPPA looks to promote the sport of poker in Hong Kong and beyond. It is managed by seasoned poker pros and marketing experts, hosting regular free-to-play poker tournaments and free classes to give the general public a taste of the game.
