Melco Resorts & Entertainment has announced the launch of its recruitment drive for City of Dreams Mediterranean, with the first 500 job opportunities to be posted on the development’s official website within the next month.
In an announcement, Melco said it was seeking “aspiring professionals for the temporary and satellite casinos scheduled to open in 2018, leading up to the 2021 opening of City of Dreams Mediterranean.”
Recruitment will take place in phases, with the first 20 vacancies to include a range of positions in finance, construction, IT, security and casino operations.
The €550 million City of Dreams Mediterranean is expected to create around 4,000 jobs each year during the construction period and an estimated 6,500 direct and indirect full-time positions in Cyprus when the resort is fully operational.
A temporary casino will operate close to the project site in Limassol while City of Dreams Mediterranean is being constructed. Four satellite casinos are also scheduled to open in Nicosia, Larnaca, free Famagusta and Paphos.
