The Director of Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), Paulo Martins Chan, has been announced as the keynote speaker on Day 1 of this year’s MGS Entertainment Show, to be held at the Venetian Macao from 14 to 16 November 2017.
Mr Chan, who spoke 12 months ago about Macau’s future development as a gaming and tourism destination, will deliver a “Privilege Speech” this time around as part of the MGS Summit.
He will be joined by a number of prominent industry speakers at the three-day event, including General Manager of Alibaba Cloud in Hong Kong, Leo Liu, and Chairman of Gaming Capital Management, Mike Tanji.
Mr Liu will speak about the effects of the big data revolution on the smart city model that is sweeping China, with Alibaba Cloud recently signing an agreement with the Macau SAR government to bring cloud infrastructure into Macau’s public services.
Mr Tanji, an expert on gaming in Japan, will discuss the development of new gaming markets in Asia with a specific focus on Japan.
