In order to promote the concept of organic skin care, CANVAS made its official debut in Macau at JA Avenue on Monday.
The opening ceremony, attended by celebrities and stylists from Macau, was held at the Square outside the main entrance of JA Avenue with Ms Angela Leong, Managing Director and Chief Administrative Officer of SJM officiating at the opening event. Other officiating guests included Ms Eva Leung, Managing Director of CANVAS Asia Pacific; Mr Gary Ng, Managing Director of CANVAS Macau; Ms Myra Siu, Director of Retail Business Development of SJM; Ms Kelly Lo, Director of Sales and Operation of JA Avenue, and Ms Ruby Wang, Director of Marketing of Casino Oceanus at Jai Alai.
The opening event was especially meaningful because it not only celebrated the formal admission of CANVAS into Macau, but also included a special Golden Token Charity Game. Co-organized with JA Avenue of SJM, all proceeds raised from the charity game will be donated to the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired and Macau Special Olympics. Gifts for the charity game, at a total value of HK$360,000, were sponsored by CANVAS.
Supporting CANVAS’ brand concept of “Loving the Nature” and its contribution to the community, Ms. Angela Leong attended the ribbon cutting ceremony of CANVAS. She said, “JA Avenue is working together with CANVAS on a charity event, not only hoping to help the members of the Macau Association of the Hearing Impaired and the Macau Special Olympics, but also to arouse the community’s attention and concern for the needy starting from the people around to spreading love and warmth to the entire society.”
