The 28th Australasian Gaming Expo has attracted record numbers so far this week, with visitor attendance up 22% on 2016 numbers according to show organizers.
The first day of AGE 2017 saw more than 3,000 key industry executives walk through the doors of the new ICC Sydney at Darling Harbour, where they were greeted by 246 exhibition stands – up 26% on last year.
The Gaming Technologies Association presented a Best Stand award based on a strict set of criteria, with judges determining that a number of exhibitors had excelled in terms of creative execution of brand identity and key messages; innovative and efficient use of space; simplicity of form and aesthetics; imaginative use of materials, color and lighting; and visitor engagement and interaction.
Big Screen Video was ultimately awarded top prize due to their use of the ICC’s cavernous ceiling height to bring a “wow factor” to the show. Scent Central, Hennessy Coffee, Next ATM, Bromic and 2016 winner Satelight all received special mentions.
AGE 2017 concludes today.
