Emerging trends and developments in Southeast Asian gaming markets will be among the key topics examined at this year’s G2E Asia Conference, according to organizer Reed Exhibitions.
Set to run from 16 to 18 May at Venetian Macao, the 2017 G2E Asia Conference will feature an Asian Markets Forum offering a thorough assessment of topical issues affecting gaming in Asia today, specifically Macau, Singapore, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
PricewaterhouseCoopers will also address Japan in greater detail, explaining why it has been earmarked by industry experts as potentially one of the largest gaming markets in the world, with the potential to generate tens of billions of dollars in revenue, with significant attribution to the development of the “Osaka Strip.”
The Conference will also include a unique Executive Roundtable on Content and Amenities for the Mass Market on 17 May, which will be hosted by the American Gaming Association and feature Sands China President Wilfred Wong, Aristocrat Managing Director Mitchell Bowen, Group CEO of Gaming for Scientific Games Derik Mooberry and IGT CEO Walter Bugno.
The Round Table will focus on providing broader hospitality and entertainment efforts to guests and recent developments that fulfil the Macau government’s brief to drive tourism and boost revenue.
For the second year running, DICJ Director Paulo Martins Chan will provide a keynote address on 17 May, while the Conference will conclude with an iGaming Summit titled “Next Generation Products & Marketing”. The iGaming Summit will examine how to leverage digital opportunities, assess the global rise of eSports and highlight how Asia is leading the way.
