Aristocrat, Asia’s leading slot machine provider by market share, will launch a range of new products designed for that market this week at the G2E Asia 2010 Gaming Expo in Macau.

David Punter, Aristocrat’s General Manager Asia Pacific said: “Our aim is to make sure our products are meeting the needs of local operators and players–confirming our commitment to the world’s fastest growing gaming region.

“We have an extensive range of games which are either inspired by local players or are proven performers which have been brought in from other regions but tailored for the Asian market. For example we will showcase the Yellow Dragon™ hyperlink at G2E which has been specially developed for the Asian market.”

Yellow Dragon is based on the region’s most successful hyperlink Fa Fa Fa™ and the legendary tale of Huang Long.

Yellow Dragon™ is scheduled for release in the second half of the year and will feature a combination of top-performing games including the recently approved, 100 Dragons™ which is an extension of the popular 50 Dragons™ and 100 Lions™.

Aristocrat will in addition give a regional debut to its international success story, the JAWS™ jackpot link. A highly interactive game with many bonus features, this link features on-screen messages and player instructions in Chinese and will be rolled out in Macau and other markets in coming months. Also being launched is a new Asian-themed Xtreme Mystery™ Link – Jade Mountain™ – and nine new standalone games including 100 Dragons™.

“We will also be taking the opportunity to show our customers US product we can expect to see in Asia in the coming years,” added Mr Punter.

“This includes our VIRIDIAN™ cabinet with a wider screen and LCD buttons, and the Vii™ Slant which has been engineered with enhanced ergonomics for players and easier accessibility for operators.  The VIRIDIAN™ WS™ [widescreen] and a range of games for this cabinet are scheduled for release in Asia in late 2011.”

Another innovation from the US is Beijing Bonanza™- Aristocrat’s first GEN7 connected gaming product. On display for the first time in Asia, Beijing Bonanza™ is a community gaming product offering a tournament feature where players compete against each other and that also offers a free games bonus awarded to all players on the bank.

Network gaming has been promoted as the next big technology shift for the gaming industry worldwide, as it combines dynamic game control, multi-vendor content, floor management and configuration in a single product package.

Aristocrat will be demonstrating its ACE Interactive™ TruServ™ server-based gaming product that allows operators to modify their gaming floor offer to meet changing player profiles and deliver new levels of player and operator service.
One of the new enhancements for players to be demonstrated this year is the ability to select Chinese or English language games on a language menu. The ACE Interactive™ Lottery solution will also be demonstrated running on Indago™ terminals and will show new lottery games.

“Aristocrat is committed to maintaining its market leadership in Asia and looks forward to releasing more games leveraging the latest technologies and tailored specifically to the region in coming years,” said Mr Punter.
The Aristocrat display is at stand 400 at CotaiExpo at The Venetian Macau.
