High stakes specialist Steve O’Dwyer has continued his incredible form in the world’s biggest buy-in events by winning the HK$400,000 Super High Roller at the inaugural PokerStars Championship Macau.

O’Dwyer outlasted a field of 64 players, to defeat Germany’s Fedor Holz heads-up and take down the HK$8.46 million first prize. The event saw 24 players rebuy after busting early, creating a total prize pool of HK$33,802,560.

O’Dwyer’s live earnings now sit above US$17.5 million. Only two weeks ago he topped the PokerStars Championship Panama US$10k High Roller for a US$240,451 payday. That means that with this year’s global PokerStars Championship midway through its third stop, O’Dwyer has already won two of the three High Roller events.
