The 12 awards categories for the 2019 G2E Asia Awards, to be held on Tuesday 21 May 2019 during G2E Asia, have now been revealed and nominations are open.

Inside Asian Gaming and G2E Asia organizer Reed Exhibitions have officially announced the 12 awards categories that will be presented at this year’s G2E Asia Awards, to be held in Macau on the evening of Tuesday 21 May 2019.

Following on from a hugely successful event held at MGM Cotai in 2018, this year’s awards will include 10 awards that were presented at last year’s G2E Asia Awards plus two new categories – Best Regional Asian IR and Best IR Non-Gaming Attraction.

With Galaxy Macau named Best Integrated Resort in 2018 and Asia’s biggest gaming cities offering numerous other leading contenders to fight it out for the top prize again this year, the Best Regional IR award aims to recognize the achievements of top performing IRs from outside of Asia’s leading casino hubs of Macau and Singapore.

The Best IR Non-Gaming Attraction is a nod to the full scale of today’s integrated resorts and the importance of providing guests with a complete entertainment experience both on, and away from, the casino floor.

Confirmation of the 12 awards categories for 2019 follows December’s announcement that IAG and Reed Exhibitions had signed a new agreement to co-organize the G2E Asia Awards for the next three years, from 2019 through 2021, with an option to extend further.

“This is a unique event to recognize excellence and provide an unrivaled industry networking opportunity within the Asian gaming and entertainment industry,” said Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions Greater China, Josephine Lee, at the time.

“We are extremely honored to receive such positive response and support from the industry. The team and myself are very much looking forward to the 2019 G2E Asia Awards.”

IAG and Reed Exhibitions also revealed in February that the public nominations period for the 2019 G2E Asia Awards has now opened, running until Friday 5 April 2019. During this period, any member of the public may submit nominations by visiting G2EAsiaAwards.com. Companies are welcome to nominate themselves.

The G2E Asia Awards judging panel, which will be announced later this month, will select the official award nominees after the nomination period has closed with award winners to be announced at the 2019 G2E Asia Awards gala dinner on Tuesday 21 May 2019.

The awards judging process will be audited to ensure integrity and fairness of the voting process.

More details on the G2E Asia Awards can be viewed at G2EAsiaAwards.com.

Seats at the G2E Asia Awards can be purchased by contacting Reed Exhibitions or Inside Asian Gaming and via G2EAsiaAwards.com. There are also a variety of sponsorship packages available.
