Leading global slot machine developer Aristocrat Game Technologies has purchased the source code and IP of SIC Innovations for its casino mobile technology app PlayerMax.
The purchase, which makes PlayerMax a wholly-owned product of Aristocrat’s Oasis 360 gaming systems brand, aims to enhance the company’s player-focused offerings to its customers, it said.
The PlayerMax app offers a range of features including a dashboard where users can instantly access balances, player status and messages; gamification via in-app challenges; the ability for players to make restaurant reservations and receive notifications; and an in-app host offering direct connection to the player’s casino host by phone text, or email.
Under the agreement, Aristocrat has received all PlayerMax web and mobile source code for exclusive use in the gaming industry plus a non-exclusive license to leverage SIC’s AvT patent for use within the PlayerMax mobile platform.
“This purchase is another exciting step forward in our Oasis 360 systems offerings,” said Aristocrat Vice President of Oasis Systems, Kelly Shaw. “It enables us to further enhance and expand our loyalty solutions in the mobile segment, which will allow our customers to engage with their players in an even more meaningful way.”
