Universal Studios Singapore is to have what management described as its ‘soft’ opening today amid concern that some rides are still not ready.
Five of the 24 attractions in the US$1 billion theme park were stopped for technical reasons during a media preview yesterday, reports the South China Morning Post.
Robin Goh, an assistant director of communications at Resorts World Sentosa, said in cases where rides and other attractions were suspended for technical reasons the park would provide shopping and food vouchers to visitors as compensation.
A one-day pass for all rides ranges from S$66 (US$47) to S$72 (US$51) for adults, and S$48 (US$34) to S$52 (US$37) for children.
