The 2018 edition of Asia’s largest gaming industry trade event, G2E Asia, kicks off today with a record attendance of more than 15,000 local and international visitors expected over the course of the next three days.
G2E Asia 2018 has already been confirmed as the largest ever in terms of floor space with an exhibition floor spanning 37,000 square meters – 30% more than in 2017. The show celebrates its 12th anniversary this year, playing host to more than 220 exhibitors representing 35% growth over the first edition held back in 2007.
Delivering the keynote address at the G2E Asia Conference this morning will be Melco Resorts & Entertainment Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho, whose company operates three integrated resorts in Macau – City of Dreams, Studio City and Altira – and is actively pursuing a Japan gaming license.
As always, Inside Asian Gaming will boast a significant presence at G2E Asia with a team of 30 on the ground throughout the week.
IAG is Lead Media Partner with G2E Asia, produces daily show newspaper G2E Asia Daily and is co-organizer of the inaugural G2E Asia Awards to be held tonight at The Ballroom at MGM COTAI.
IAG is also hosting the Asian Markets Forum as part of the G2E Asia Conference from 1.30pm to 3.00pm today. The Forum, to be moderated by IAG CEO Andrew W Scott, will be split into two 45 minute panels — Asia North and Asia South – and will discuss a wide range of issues from IR project development and design through to construction, marketing, labour supply and other unique considerations of each market.
