Alliance Global Group, the ultimate parent of Newport World Resorts (NWR) operator Travellers International Hotel Group Inc, said gross gaming revenues at the Manila integrated resort grew by 7% quarter-on-quarter in the three months to 30 September 2025, driven by better win rate and steady mass volume.
While the update did not include a full breakdown of revenues, it did reveal that gross gaming revenue for the first nine months of 2025 combined was Php23.5 billion (US$398 million). Based on the company’s previously released 1H25 financial information, this means Q3 GGR was around Php8.1 billion (US$137 million), up from Php7.5 billion (US$127 million) in the June quarter.
Gross revenue for the first nine months of the year was Php28.6 billion (US$484 million) thanks to increased foot traffic at NWR, with non-gaming revenue of Php5.1 billion (US$86.3 million).
AGI said that attributable net income grew by 31% year-on-year to Php651 million (US$11.0 million), “benefitting as well from ongoing cost management measures”.
Group-wide, AGI reported revenue of Php143.4 billion (US$2.43 billion) through September with net income rising 24% to Php24.8 billion (US$420 million).
Aside from Travellers, the company’s ventures include real estate development via Megaworld Corporation; spirits manufacturing through Emperador Inc, the Philippines’ McDonald’s franchises through Golden Arches Development Corporation (GADC) and infrastructure development through Infracorp.
AGI said the group’s interim performance included one-time gains of Php3.4 billion (US$57.5 million) from the deconsolidation of its quick service restaurants business, Golden Arches Development Corp (GADC), where it retains a 49% stake. As a result, attributable profit climbed 34% to Php17.4 billion (US$294 million).
“AGI’s robust performance in the first three quarters of the year is largely due to our diversified business portfolio and product mix. During the period, we saw a sequential improvement in office and mall rentals, and steady contribution from our residential and hospitality segments,” said Kevin L. Tan, President and Chief Executive Officer of AGI. “Meanwhile, despite the global economic challenges, our spirits business has managed to gain traction in the international market.
“What provided an added lift in Group earnings and margins is our ongoing cost management efforts which we have implement across the business. As we build a culture of cost awareness, we hope to further enhance our operating efficiencies moving forward.”
