Inside Asian Gaming has announced the elite panel of judges for this year’s Asian Gaming Power 50.

The annual list of the most influential people in Asia set to be unveiled during IAG’s black tie gala dinner on the evening of Friday 7 November 2025 at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau. SJM Resorts, S.A. is Venue Sponsor of the event.

To be chaired by IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott, the judging panel brings together many decades of industry experience across the operator, supplier, legal, education and media sectors.

This year’s panel comprises a total of nine judges of which eight are returning from previous years. They include IAG Managing Editor Ben Blaschke; Member of the Advisory Board Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming at the University of Macau, Grant Bowie; Director of the Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming at the University of Macau Davis Fong; veteran gaming and governance consultant David Green; Professor Integrated Resort and Tourism Management at the University of Macau, Desmond Lam; Managing Partner at MdME Rui Pinto Proença; and Non-Executive Director of Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd Heather Scheibenstock.

Joining the judging panel for the first time is Ronald Pineda. Widely known as “Peepo”, Pineda spent more than three decades with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), holding senior leadership positions in both the Casino Filipino operations and the Corporate Licensing & Regulatory Group before rising to Vice President and serving on the Executive Committee.

He is currently President of PAGCOR-licensed gaming operator Boom Games and Leisure Corporation, a partner of gaming focused advisory True Gems Inc, a director of Hong Kong–based technology company Thenix Solutions Limited and a sought-after consultant for gaming companies in Asia and Europe.

Celebrating its 18th anniversary in 2025, the Asian Gaming Power 50 has established a reputation as the definitive guide to the most influential people in the Asian gaming industry over the preceding 12 months.

The Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner will see IAG count down this year’s “Big 50” while guests enjoy a fine-dining banquet, lively entertainment and the company of many industry peers and influencers. The Power 50 list will be announced in a variety of interesting ways by renowned VIPs.
