Tecnet Asia Inc has renewed its sponsorship of Cebu Football Club for the second straight year in a move it says strengthens its commitment to community development and reflects the company’s growing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
This CSR focus begins with sports development but aims to expand into broader areas of community support in the Philippines, it added.
In an announcement, Tecnet noted that football holds a deep history in the Philippines, producing world-class talents such as Paulino Alcántara, who once stood among the greatest in the sport.
Hoping that Filipino players can once again shine on both the local and international stage with the right support, Tecnet is partnering with Cebu FC to contribute to the growth of professional football in the country and supporting the club’s ambitions to bring pride to Filipino fans at home and abroad.
Cebu FC is said to be home to one of the best youth academies in the Visayas region, where hundreds of children are trained every year.
While Tecnet’s sponsorship is focused on the club’s professional team, the company said it recognizes the importance of programs that shape future athletes and strengthen local communities.

Earlier this year, Tecnet CEO Suat Sirin and Business Development Manager Eren Kereci visited Cebu FC’s facilities and met with the club’s owner, Ugur Taşci, to learn more about the team’s long-term vision. Inspired by the club’s plans, Tecnet renewed its sponsorship to not only help the team compete for league titles but also support its international campaigns, including the Shopee Cup.
“We are not just supporting a football club, we are supporting the next generation of Filipino players who will carry the pride of the Philippines,” said Sirin during the sponsorship signing. “As Mustafa Kemal Atatürk once said, ‘A sound mind is found in a sound body.’ We believe that through sports, we help nurture both – building stronger individuals and, in turn, stronger communities.”

As part of the partnership, Tecnet’s branding will appear on Cebu FC game shorts, ad boards all across stadium and social media channels. Beyond visibility, Tecnet said the sponsorship is about creating opportunities for young talents and reinforcing the message that corporate success comes with a responsibility to give back.
