Global test lab GLI has announced the opening of its new lab location in Melbourne, Australia.
Having first established a Melbourne base in 2007, GLI said its presence in the southern Australian city will now be stronger than ever with the new site offering a full-suite of services including iGaming and land-based testing, Casino Management Systems (CMS) testing, interoperability Testing and quality assurance.
The move, it added, was necessitated by GLI’s continually growing operations, with the upgrade to a larger facility in South Melbourne physically positioning the lab closer to many of its customers.
“We are excited about this next chapter as it strengthens our ability to meet our clients’ continually evolving needs,” said Richard Howarth, Chief Business Officer – APAC.
“With these expert teams working together under one roof, we are better positioned to than ever to deliver comprehensive solutions for today’s gaming industry.”
GLI also has Australian labs in Adelaide – which became just its second location globally when opened in 1994 – and in Sydney.
The opening of the new Melbourne office come with GLI in the process of being acquired by private equity firm CVC Capital Partners, which co-founder James Maida told IAG last week would aid the company in pursuing future expansion.
