Industry supplier FBM has described as encouraging the early performance of its latest slot series, Jí Hǎo Link, since it was installed at Manila market leader Solaire recently.
The series is being shown under the Jí Hǎo Link branding at G2E this week although the Solaire installation is via the trademark Jin Qián Link.
Speaking with Inside Asian Gaming at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, FBM’s Country Manager for the Philippines, Pepe Costa, said there were encouraging signs that would likely lead to an expansion of its installed product portfolio in the coming months.
“We are very pleased with the early results,” Costa said. “The performance has been encouraging, showing a strong player engagement and great feedback. That’s why we are also installing at Solaire in the next few weeks Xing-Fú Fortune as well.
“Based on these results, we are exploring more opportunities for expansion into other properties.”
FBM is showcasing a variety of games tailored to the Asian market at G2E this week, with Jí Hǎo Link and Xing-Fú Fortune joined by the likes of Lanterns of Fú and Festivals of Luck – the latter offering six titles that honor Asian traditions and festivals.
According to Costa, the company sees innovation across multiple series as a positive way forward in a market that has seen some regression in 2025.
“I believe the land-based market in the Philippines is facing natural challenges that every fast evolving and growing gaming ecosystem experiences,” he explained. “This is part of the growing process. The Philippines will remain one of the biggest markets in Asia and the world.
“From our end, we highly rely on innovation to face these challenges which present an opportunity as well. We have recently launched our Nationwide Wide Area Progressive, the MEGAPOT, connecting all the venues in the country and we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our players. So, we are quite excited about this.”
Asked what separates FBM from the many other suppliers currently grappling to gain a foothold in the Philippines, Costa added, “Our differentiation comes from years of experience in the market – a combination of innovation, flexibility, local customization and trust. As you know, FBM has built a reputation for credibility in the industry for over two decades and we work closely with operators to design products and marketing campaigns that truly fit their market needs. Definitely FBM has an edge here.
“Our focus is to consolidate FBM as a top player in the Philippines. We already have a strong position in the local industry and we will continue bringing innovative products and features to entice our players.”
