Aristocrat Leisure Limited has announced the impending departures of two key executives, with Aristocrat Interactive CEO Moti Malul to step down in March 2026 and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Natalie Toohey exiting immediately.

In an ASX filing, Aristocrat said that Malul’s position will be filled by Dylan Slaney, who is expected to commence on 3 November 2025 subject to the receipt of necessary regulatory pre-approvals.

Slaney is, the company added, a proven iGaming executive, with over 10 years of global leadership experience in the sector. He was most recently CEO of Light & Wonder’s iGaming business and has held leadership positions at NYX, SG Digital and in the global customer data science company, dunnhumby.

Aristocrat described Slaney as having “a track record of driving operational excellence and a customer first approach that delivers transformative growth”.

Toohey, who leaves Aristocrat after seven years in her current role to pursue new opportunities, has been replaced by Barry French in the expanded role of Chief Corporate Affairs & Marketing Officer, effective immediately. Toohey will, however, ensure a smooth transition and be available to provide further support under a consulting arrangement, the company said.

French brings over 35 years of leadership experience in the telecommunications, transport, aerospace, defense and technology sectors to the position, having lived and worked in the US, UK and Finland and led multinational teams in fast-paced regulated and consumer-facing organizations. He was previously Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at Inmarsat and before that at Nokia.

Both Slaney and French will report directly to Aristocrat Group CEO and Managing Director, Trevor Croker, and will join the Executive Steering Committee, with Slaney based in London and French based in Las Vegas.

“As we begin a new fiscal year, I am pleased to share two leadership appointments that consolidate the strong progress we’ve achieved and will help Aristocrat accelerate delivery of our strategy,” said Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director, Trevor Croker.

“I am delighted to welcome leaders of the caliber of Dylan and Barry to the Aristocrat executive team. Both are values-led leaders with collaborative and customer-centric mindsets.

“Dylan’s deep iGaming experience and track record of operational delivery will help us accelerate momentum in Aristocrat Interactive, including building on our market-leading position in iLottery, in line with our strategy. I also look forward to Barry further building our reputation and stakeholder relationships, while forging a global Marketing function to better steward our brands and unlock more strategic benefits.

“I want to express my thanks to Moti for his leadership through a period in which we brought together multiple teams to create Aristocrat Interactive, put in place an ambitious Group growth plan and took foundational steps towards its delivery. I also want to thank Natalie for her outstanding contribution.

“Natalie transformed our Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations capabilities and impact globally, while deepening vital stakeholder relationships and playing an important role in the resilience and growth of the business over a sustained period.”
