The former Landing Casino at Korea’s Jeju Shinhwa World has rebranded to “LES A Casino”, according to a company announcement.
The property’s parent company, Hong Kong-listed Shin Hwa World Ltd, said it had been pushing for a rebranding since 2022 – around the time it implemented a new management team and changed its corporate name from Landing International Development Ltd. However, implementing the new LES A Casino brand had been delayed due to factors including the COVID-19 pandemic.
In unveiling the new casino brand, Shinhwa World said the A, being the first letter in the alphabet, represented the “first” and “best”. The name also highlights its ambition to strengthen its services and business capabilities, the company explained.
Shinhwa World has faced significant challenges since the pandemic, recently reporting a net loss of HK$244.4 million (US$31.4 million) in 1H25 – widened from the HK$231.5 million (US$29.7 million) loss reported in the same period in 2024.
The company said Tuesday that, under its new LES A Casino brand, it plans to accelerate efforts to target Northeast Asian markets such as Japan while also developing new markets.
The casino this week hosted the latest Triton Poker super high roller series.
