Leading Philippines eGames provider DigiPlus Interactive Corp has reported net income of Php8.4 billion (US$147 million) for the first six months of 2025, representing a 61% year-on-year increase on continued growth in its retail games segment.
DigiPlus operates digital entertainment platforms BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone.
In a filing, the company said that total revenues rose by 47% to Php47.8 billion (US$838 million), supported by increased business activity and the rollout of new games and licenses approved by PAGCOR.
EBITDA for the first half reached Php9.1 billion (US$160 million), up 65%.
For the second quarter alone, net income was Php4.2 billion (US$73.6 million), the company added, representing a 30% year-on-year increase. Revenues reached Php24.7 billion (US$433 million), up 31%, while EBITDA rose 32% to Php4.50 billion (US$78.9 million). These figures were driven by new game offerings across DigiPlus’ platforms.
In response to a recent push for greater restrictions around the domestic online gaming industry, DigiPlus again highlighted its involvement in the “PlaySafe Alliance of the Philippines” – announced last week to support responsible gaming, regulatory compliance, consumer protection and combatting illegal gambling.
“This alliance is not about competition – it’s about collaboration,” said DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio Tanco. “By working as one, we can ensure that online gambling in the Philippines becomes more secure, transparent and beneficial to both players and the nation.”
