Macau’s only online live sports streaming platform, M Plus, it has secured the exclusive regional broadcasting rights for the English Premier League in Macau from 2025 to 2028.

M Plus held a press conference on Monday afternoon to announce its successful renewal of the regional broadcasting rights for the English Premier League, the English FA Cup and the German Bundesliga.

The broadcasting rights obtained by M Plus will commence from the 2025/2026 season and run until 2028. Among these, the English Premier League and the English FA Cup are exclusive for the Macau region.

Alan Yung, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at M Plus Sports Media Company Limited, stated, “The Premier League and the FA Cup, as the most popular football events globally, have always been deeply loved by Macau football fans.

“Over the next three seasons, M Plus will broadcast all the aforementioned matches live via the M Plus app, including live news updates and post-match highlights.”

M Plus also announced a partnership with Macau Cable Television, which will designate channels 34, 35, 36, and 37 as exclusive sports broadcast channels for M Plus. These channels will have 24/7 live sports events for M Plus, ensuring extensive coverage of matches with professional commentary in English or Cantonese.

Founded in 2017, M Plus primarily offers live streaming of major global sports events via a subscription-based model through its internet platform and mobile app, including the top five European football leagues, the Japanese Professional Football League, the NBA, Korean basketball, Australian basketball and more.

It has also had a long-held agreement in place with Macau’s sole sports betting concessionaire, Macau SLOT, under which active Macau SLOT account holders can watch live broadcasts of selected M plus sports events for free.
