Macau-incorporated 113 East Limited has gained distribution rights for two environmental technologies that it says can go a long way towards improving Macau’s environmental footprint – including within its integrated resorts.
The technologies, which 113 East Limited says are available immediately, include a food waste reduction option called WasteMaster and an air purification system called AtmosAir.
According to information from the company, WasterMaster reduces food waste by up to 80% and creates a residue that will burn to form biogas. This machine can be installed onsite and will treat up to one tone of food waste every 24 hours.
AtmosAir seeks out contaminants within the designated space by utilizing negative ions to neutralize the positive ions that carry the smells, bacteria and viruses. Rather than waiting for the pollutants to find their way into the filter within the air handler, the air ions instead go directly to contaminants in the space where you breathe – minimizing contaminants at their source. AtmosAir ionizers also effectively inhibit the growth of mold.
The ionizers can be installed in vents or via portable machines, and are suitable for everything from schools, nurseries, hospitals and commercial buildings to hotels, casinos, airports, shopping malls, serviced apartments, doctor’s clinics and even glasshouses for growing plants, herbs, fruit and vegetables. The list includes any venue that has poor indoor ventilation or a humid climate.
The benefits of the ionizers, according to 113 East Limited, include:
Microbial and Pathogen Reduction: Ions bind with bacteria and viruses (including coronavirus), breaking down their structure and rendering them harmless – even if inhaled or ingested. AtmosAir neutralizes 99.9% of Coronavirus particles within 30 minutes of exposure under real world conditions.
Particle Decay: Particles are taken out of the breathing range to the floor. Since bi-polar ionization will go the source of contamination, a larger percentage of particles are affected than with filter systems.
VOC and Odor Reduction: Chemical off-gasses and offensive odors are eliminated by the interaction with ionized air, eliminating the need for masking agents that add to indoor pollution.
Energy Conservation: With an engineered air purification approach, ASHRAE’s 62.1 Guidelines allow you to reduce the volume of outside air while providing the above benefits and greatly improving the indoor air quality.
113 East Limited said it is committed to the environment and will continue to look for cutting edge technologies that improve Macau’s environmental footprint while provide businesses and the community with solutions that aid lifestyle, consumer comfort and business efficiency.
