The Asian gaming industry celebrated in style on Thursday night as they came together for the biggest edition of The Industry Party yet.
Held at Vista at MGM Cotai on the second evening of G2E Asia, around 400 people enjoyed the lively entertainment, tasty canapes and delectable drinks while catching up with industry colleagues.
Ken Jolly, Managing Director, Asia for Light & Wonder, said his company was pleased to be a key sponsor of an event that has become a vital means of connecting with clients.
“The daytime is all about business and tonight’s all about casual,” he said. “When you’re at the stand during the show you’re getting groups of people coming in and you’re talking to them, but you miss other people. Here you get to circulated around and meet everybody.”

Jolly added that he was looking forward to taking part in the IAG EXPO in Manila in September, which will for the first time include an exhibition alongside the established IAG Academy Summit and IAG Academy Awards.
“The trade show outlookj is going to change by having another one in the Philippines in September which is very good timing from where we sit. We can have this show here in May and can enjoy this party and then we can head into the latter part of the year with the IAG Expo where we also look forward to the [IAG Academy] Awards.
“It’s good for the industry coming together because when you really look at the world gaming industry, it is Asia that really brings it all together.”

This year’s The Industry Party also saw a new initiative introduced called TIP Game, where attendees progressed were asked to answer a series of questions with “A” or “B” throughout the night with those who answered incorrectly eliminated.
A huge HK$40,000 (US$5,000) cash prize awaited in a winner-takes-all contest, with none other than Jeremy Artan de Saint Martin emerging victorious. Congratulations Jeremy!
