According to the latest list published in Macau’s Official Gazette, 26 gaming machine manufacturers or distributors have been approved to supply gaming machines in Macau this year – one more than in 2024.
This year’s list includes a raft of expected names that have been operating in Macau for many years, such as Aristocrat, Light & Wonder, IGT, Konami and Japan’s Sega Sammy Creation, while distributors RGB Ltd and Asia Pioneer Entertainment are also named.
The likes of Empire Technological Group, which was licensed by the DICJ in May 2024, and ACP, licensed in December, are approved, however FBM and the Czech Republic’s SYNOT Group are notable omissions after appearing on the list last year.
IAG has contacted FBM for comment.
The 26 gaming machine manufacturers and distributors approved this year will have valid licenses until 31 March 2026.
According to “Administrative Regulation No 26/2012”, licensed manufacturers have the right to supply gaming machines to Macau’s concessionaires as well as, subject to DICJ authorization, to showcase non-commercial gaming machines for training or exhibition purposes.
The list of licensees has traditionally been published in the Official Gazette each March.
