The World Poker Tour (WPT) has confirmed it will return to Cambodia in early 2025 with an expanded festival that will boast both the main tour WPT Cambodia Championship as well as WPT Prime Cambodia.

According to information released overnight, WPT Cambodia will run for 19 days from 6 to 24 February at NagaWorld in Phnom Penh, highlighted by the US$3,500 WPT Cambodia Championship which will offer a US$1.5 million guaranteed prize pool.

“Our festivals in Cambodia at NagaWorld have immortalized some amazing moments, from record-breaking fields to the Sexton Cup’s first appearance in Southeast Asia,” said WPT CEO Adam Pliska. “We look forward to more momentous times to come as we combine the prestige and size of both the WPT Cambodia Championship and WPT Prime Cambodia into one grand festival.”

The US$1,100 buy-in WPT Prime Cambodia will offer its own US$750,000 guarantee. All in all, the WPT Cambodia festival will boast more than US$3 million in guaranteed prize money with more than 60 tournaments on the schedule, making it the longest World Poker Tour festival in Asia to date.
