The milestone was celebrated at a special ceremony led by PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco and which doubled as a blessing of the agency’s new corporate office in Pasay City.
The event commenced with a Holy Mass that was concelebrated by Fr. Tito Caluag and Fr. Jojo Aguas, followed by a lively dragon dance presentation and electronic cash raffle for employees.
In a simple ceremony, Chairman Tengco paid tribute to the state gaming firm’s workforce, whose unwavering commitment and resilience have been instrumental in helping PAGCOR reach its 41st year, he said.
“I thank each and every PAGCOR employee who has contributed in different ways to help us celebrate another year of existence. We wouldn’t have reached our 41st year without your perseverance and prayers,” Tengco remarked.
“I honestly believe that if we’ll just work hand-in-hand, we can make PAGCOR a stronger corporation that we can all be proud of.”
PAGCOR continues to play a crucial role in the nation’s economic development, securing its position as one of the largest revenue generating corporations for the government, having contributed Php31.82 billion (US$545 million) towards nation-building in 1H24.
