Many IAG readers saw the campaign IAG ran in order to fill a new senior executive position with the company. There were four teaser articles:

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4

… followed by the main event:

A unique IR industry career opportunity for the right person (part 5)

In addition, we posted the advertisement on the IAG LinkedIn account, which has over 28,500 followers.

I am pleased to report that we received no less than 40 applications! IAG wishes to offer a heartfelt thank you to all who took the time to apply.

Naturally, these applications were of various standards with applicants possessing a wide range of skill sets. Of course, no one applicant matched the job description as per our advertisement perfectly, but the wide range of applicants has got us thinking about even further positions at IAG that we would like to fill.

IAG has not yet responded to all applicants, but we undertake to do so over the coming days and weeks, so if you applied for the position, please be patient. I will personally reply to you as soon as possible.
