Wynn has confirmed it will continue to showcase world-class snooker when it hosts the “King of Snooker vs 2025 World Champion • An Awe-inspiring Exhibition Game Between Snooker Legends” at Wynn Macau Grand Ballroom on 31 October. The event will see seven-time world champion and snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan against history-making Zhao Xintong – the first Chinese and Asian player to win the World Snooker Championship.
Wynn said the event supports the Macau government’s “1+4” adequate diversification strategy and propels the cross-sector integration of sports and tourism through sporting events.
“King of Snooker vs 2025 World Champion” is aimed at building on the success of the “2024 Macau Snooker Masters” with Wynn Brand Ambassador O’Sullivan returning to Macau in this latest challenge. Tickets are priced between MOP$580 and MOP$880.
Wyn stated it has “always actively supported Macau’s development toward a ‘City of Sports’ by continually introducing and launching high-level sporting events to offer residents and tourists a wider array of quality leisure experiences.
“Looking ahead, Wynn will continue to organize world-class sporting events to help enhance Macau’s sports atmosphere and industry development, thus facilitating the thorough integration of tourism with leisure and sports industries, enriching Macau as a ‘World Centre of Tourism and Leisure’ and further elevating its international profile.”
