Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has signed a deal with hotels giant Marriott International Inc to open Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong – located within the Jurong Gateway precinct of the Jurong Lake District.

The agreement will see the new hotel brand replace the existing Genting Hotel Jurong, owned by RWS, and follows the recent opening by Marriott of The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort at the RWS integrated resort.

The Jurong Lake District is a planned area covering 472 hectares as part of the Urban Redevelopment Authority’s decentralization efforts to bring more quality jobs, amenities and recreational options closer to homes. It is slated to become home to the largest commercial district outside Singapore’s city center.

According to information from RWS, the new Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong will open by early 2026, offering easy access to Jurong East MRT Station and major expressways. It explained that the location is ideal for corporate travelers given its proximity to key industrial estates, retail mall and popular attractions including the Science Centre Singapore and Snow City.

“We are pleased to collaborate once again with RWS as we continue to grow our presence in Singapore with the addition of Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong,” said Gautam Bhandari, Senior Vice President, Hotel Development & Operations for Singapore & Maldives, Marriott International. “This signing reflects our strategic focus on expanding thoughtfully across key gateway cities and underscores the strong demand we see for well-positioned, globally recognized brands that cater to both business and leisure travelers.

“With its emphasis on balanced comfort and local experiences, Four Points by Sheraton aligns well with the evolving needs of today’s guests. This announcement also builds on our recent strategic collaboration with RWS to introduce The Laurus, a Luxury Collection Resort, as we continue to diversify and strengthen our brand portfolio in the market.”

Andreas Oliver Reich, Senior Vice President, Hospitality General Management at RWS, added “Our collaboration with Marriott to debut Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong, marks a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional value to the local business ecosystem.

“This strategic collaboration enhances accommodation offerings for business travellers in the vicinity, enriches lifestyle amenities for residents of the Jurong Lake District and supports the continued growth of adjacent enterprises.

“Rebranding our property under the globally recognized Four Points by Sheraton brand elevates the hotel’s market positioning and enables us to better serve our guests with a strengthened identity. Backed by our deep-rooted expertise in hospitality and MICE and bolstered by years of operational experience in the JLD, we are confident that Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong, will remain a key contributor to the district’s transformation into a dynamic, lakeside business and leisure destination.”

The rebranded Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong will offer a range of amenities including an outdoor pool, an all-day dining restaurant, the brand’s signature Best Brews program featuring local craft beers, a fitness center and 720 square meters of versatile function space designed for corporate meetings and social events, RWS said.

Marriott said it currently operates 18 properties across 15 brands in Singapore, with Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Jurong to become its 19th property in the country.
