Ras Al Khaimah is planning to develop a special road and associated infrastructure, to be known as Wynn Boulevard, that will connect the US$5.1 billion Wynn Al Marjan Island integrated resort development with major highways leading to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The key road project, which officials revealed has already seen US$272 million committed, was reported by local media outlet Arabian Gulf Business Insight (AGBI) on Thursday following the launch by Wynn’s partner, development firm Marjan, of Marjan Beach – a residential project located alongside Wynn Al Marjan Island.
Graham Hallett, Marjan’s Chief Development Officer, told AGBI, “There will be a Wynn Boulevard. This connects to the resort through the beach district [Marjan Beach], to the 311 to the 611, to Dubai and the other emirates.
“We have just signed contracts worth over AED1 billion (US$272 million) and that is happening now.”

AGBI explained that no final costing or completion timeline for Wynn Boulevard has yet been announced, although it is likely Wynn will push for the road to be ready by the time its IR opens in 2027.
Hallett added that the road – said to be government-led but with heavy involvement from Wynn – will be lowered with pedestrian bridges crossing over.
AGBI is the same outlet that recently reported that Wynn Resorts has set aside land alongside Wynn Al Marjan Island for the possible construction of a second IR and that it may consider a separate listing for its UAE entities.
