Hann Resorts in Clark, Pampanga, continues to redefine the integrated resort lifestyle by embracing the global fascination with Korean culture and cuisine. According to Hann Resorts Chairman and CEO Dae Sik Han, a South Korean national, the integration of Korean culture reflects Hann’s mission of delivering world-class experiences. When Mr Han first visited the Philippines two decades ago to play golf, he saw in Clark the potential to provide unique experiences to locals and international travelers.

Dae Sik Han

Mr Han has a forward-looking mindset that fuels his vision of transforming Clark into a premier destination in Asia, one that blends world-class leisure, dining and culture with unique Filipino hospitality.

Through this leadership, Hann Resorts has begun to introduce K-culture starting with Korean flavors, with plans to expand into full K-lifestyle in the future. As Mr Han shares, “I plan to bring Korean culture like K-pop, K-food, K-beauty and everything because I understand Korean culture better than any Filipino. We need to find a way to offer this authentic experience.”

This vision is already taking shape through its signature Korean restaurants — Smoki Moto at Clark Marriott, Kai at Swissôtel Clark and The Dine at 8th Avenue Lifestyle Mall, each offering guests an authentic taste of Korea.

Breathtaking views at Smoki Moto

Perched inside Clark Marriott, Smoki Moto pairs bold Korean specialties with a panoramic view of the Clark skyline. Recently ranked as the No.1 restaurant in Clark on TripAdvisor, this venue also includes an al fresco dining for guests to savor favorites like LA Galbi and Yache Bulgogi Jeongol with a breathtaking nature view.

The contemporary menu of Smoki Moto also extends to Japanese delights such as premium sashimi and tempura maki, and indulgent Wagyu ribeye and porterhouse steaks. With its vibrant atmosphere and striking backdrop, Smoki Moto is more than a restaurant, it is a destination.

Building on this commitment, Hann Resorts welcomed Chef Simon Moon (Sung Chul Moon) this year as Clark Marriott’s new Executive Chef, a sounding move that reinforces the dedication to delivering world-class dining experience.

Chef Simon

Chef Simon has two decades of culinary leadership across the hospitality industry in Asia Pacific.

Chef Simon refines and develops Korean cuisine instead of reinventing it. Chef Simon adds, “These enhancements go beyond what’s on the plate. They reflect how we connect with our guests, how we tell stories through food and how we how we carry tradition forward in a way that feels current and inclusive.”

With roots in traditional Korean cuisine and mastery of Western culinary techniques, Chef Simon brings a rare versatility to the table. Under his leadership, Clark Marriott’s kitchens are set to offer guests the best of both worlds – authentic Korean flavors and refined dining service elevating Hann Resorts’ reputation as Clark’s true Culinary Capital.

Exclusivity at Kai

Korean and other international guests of the casino enjoy exclusive dining at Kai located in H Circle. The restaurant provides exclusivity and quiet comfort while offering authentic favorites such as Bosam, Jeyuk and Prime Galbi.

Kai ensures that Korean flavors are served in an exclusive and intimate setting.

Koreans set menus at The Dine

The Dine offers a refined and traditional Korean dining experience. Guests can enjoy meticulously curated Korean set menus, highlighting seasonal ingredients and contemporary presentation. Each menu is designed to deliver harmony of flavors, making The Dine an essential stop for those seeking sophistication in Korean cuisine.

Korean flavors beyond the signatures
Beyond its three signature Korean dining destinations, guests can also enjoy other Korean flavors across its property.

Guests can select Korean-inspired menu items at Markt and Swisstropic, enhancing the resort’s already diverse portfolio of 18 dining destinations spanning global cuisines.

At Swissôtel Clark’s 5th-floor pool bar, guests can also indulge in Bingsu, the popular Korean shaved ice dessert, adding a refreshing and authentic sweet touch to the resort’s bold culinary offerings. Overlooking the pool with sweeping views of Clark’s cityscape and mountains, it adds a refreshing and authentic sweet touch to the resort’s Korean culinary offerings.

Whether through contemporary Korean dining at Smoki Moto, traditional dining at The Dine, or exclusivity at Kai, Hann Resorts invites guests to discover why it remains Clark’s Culinary Capital.
