IAG EXPO, taking place at Newport World Resorts from 8 to 10 September, is not your usual trade show. IAG explains why this new annual industry event will be genuinely different and how we aim to better serve the industry’s unique needs.

The launch of the IAG EXPO brand at Manila’s Newport World Resorts (NWR) from 8 to 10 September 2025 represents a seismic shift in how industry trade shows are presented in the Asia-Pacific region.

IAG EXPO – an evolution of Inside Asian Gaming’s former “Super September” festival held at NWR in 2023 and 2024 – will incorporate welcome networking event Manila After Dark, the IAG Academy Summit and the IAG Academy IR Awards. For the first time, it will also feature the IAG Exhibition, completing a full suite of business and networking events aimed at facilitating the needs of IAG’s customers in the rapidly growing Asian gaming market.

IAG EXPO is not Asia’s only industry trade show, but it does aim to provide a level of service and understanding not seen anywhere else in the industry. The idea is simple: tell us what you need and we’ll listen! We think about your business needs, not ours.

With that in mind, we have set our pricing at very reasonable levels, will not charge exorbitant rates for the most basic of products and services and, rest assured, have no plans to “jack up the cost” once you’ve joined us as a partner.

We’re also always looking to improve. 2025 represents the very first year of IAG EXPO and if during or after the show you have some thoughts or ideas around how we can improve, come and talk to us. This year is the start but we have plans to get bigger and – more importantly – better with each successive year. IAG EXPO is also locked in at NWR until at least 2029 so you know we’re in it for the long haul.

To put it simply, we actually care! The industry has been telling us for years what’s wrong with industry trade shows, and the IAG EXPO is proof that we are taking those concerns seriously.

The two most common complaints are that exhibitions are too expensive – almost to the point of price gouging – and that organizers don’t treat their customers well enough. It’s this type of feedback that initially led us to create the IAG Academy Summit and the IAG Academy IR Awards, both of which have been smash successes over the past two years. Now, we’ve been encouraged to add the IAG Exhibition, to make the new IAG EXPO the definitive and quintessential Asia-Pacific gaming trade show.

IAG also understands the need to celebrate this entertainment industry we are all a part of. That means, while the primary focus of IAG EXPO is to facilitate the business needs of clients via the IAG Exhibition and the IAG Academy Summit, it’s also important to have some fun, let your hair down. September’s Manila After Dark has established itself as one of the unmissable industry events on the annual calendar, while the IAG Academy IR Awards is a great night to enjoy a few drinks, chat with colleagues and celebrate the achievements of the industry’s very best.

There might even be a few more “unofficial” networking opportunities to take part in too!

We look forward to seeing you all at Newport World Resorts from 8 to 10 September!
