Leading B2B gaming industry media brand Inside Asian Gaming is thrilled to announce Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, in the Macau entertainment hub of Cotai, as the venue for the 18th Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner on Friday 7 November 2025. SJM Resorts S.A. is the Official Venue Sponsor.

This year sees the Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner return to Macau – and on a permanent basis – after successful ventures to the Philippines in 2022 and 2024.

It is also the first time IAG’s flagship annual event has been held at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort, one of the flagship properties of SJM Resorts, S.A., having previously rotated through the other five Macau concessionaires since 2018.

As is tradition, the event will consist of the hour-long Welcome Cocktails, followed by the Black Tie Gala Dinner itself, and finally the Official After Party – all of which will be held at Grand Lisboa Palace. The Welcome Cocktails and the Gala Dinner will be held at the Grand Pavilion, with the venue for the Official After Party to be announced at a later date.

The Grand Pavilion, Grand Lisboa Palace

Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau is the flagship integrated resort of SJM Resorts, S.A. in Cotai that celebrates the meeting of East and West, and honours Macau’s cross-cultural heritage. The resort offers approximately 1,900 rooms and suites with three distinct and exciting hotel towers: Grand Lisboa Palace Macau is a modern Chinoiserie-styled masterpiece in design elevating the widely-recognised Lisboa brand to a new level of excellence, and the other two towers are exclusively designed by world-class fashion brands, namely Versace and THE KARL LAGERFELD. The resort offers a diverse range of cuisines and a 75,000-square-metre retail mall.

Ms Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM Resorts, S.A., commented “The Asian gaming industry has entered a new phase of its evolution, where integration with tourism, art, culture, sports and commerce is reshaping the industry’s contribution to broader economic development. As one of the region’s most iconic integrated resort operators, SJM embodies this ongoing transformation — grounded in legacy yet forward-looking in vision. It is our honour to host the IAG Asian Gaming Power 50 Gala Dinner at our Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, providing a meaningful opportunity to showcase Macau’s leading practices, and recognise the individuals driving progress across the sector.”

IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott said, “We’re absolutely thrilled to be holding the Power 50 this year at Cotai’s newest IR, Grand Lisboa Palace. IAG has done a lot of innovation in recent years, but the Power 50 is like an old friend – now in its 18th year, everyone in the industry knows what to expect from this night of nights. It remains our flagship social event and a great chance for all our industry friends not only to break out their tuxedos and ball gowns, but to reconnect with friends and former colleagues from across the entire industry.”

Celebrating its 18th anniversary in 2025, the Asian Gaming Power 50 has established a reputation as the definitive guide to the most influential people in the Asian gaming industry over the preceding 12 months.

The Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner will see IAG count down this year’s “Big 50” while guests enjoy a fine-dining banquet, lively entertainment and the company of many industry peers and influencers.

The Power 50 list will be announced in a variety of interesting ways by renowned VIPs.
