Korea’s INSPIRE Entertainment Resort has launched a new indoor map service, designed to enhance the guest experience by providing a detailed floor plan and facility guide.
A collaboration with Kakao, the KakaoMap application marks the first indoor map service introduced in the hotel and resort industry through KakaoMap, according to INSPIRE, allowing visitors to easily locate key spots within the property using the app on their smartphones.
These spots include the Aurora and the Rotunda – which are signature attractions showcasing immersive media art – as well as the indoor waterpark Splash Bay and the three hotel towers.
Visitors can also conveniently identify the locations of shops, restaurants and cafés in the INSPIRE mall down to each floor’s detailed store listings, INSPIRE explained.
The locations of essential facilities such as restrooms, nursing rooms, escalators and elevators can also be found, while a future update will include seating charts for concerts held at the INSPIRE Arena.
The KakaoMap application will complement existing services such as the “INSPIRE Hub,” which goes beyond a traditional information desk and offers concierge services like restaurant reservations, directions and event details tailored to each guest.
“With the addition of the KakaoMap indoor map service, guests will be able to access the various facilities and services within our resort more easily and conveniently,” an INSPIRE representative said.
“INSPIRE will continue to introduce a variety of innovative services aimed at enhancing guest convenience and experience.”
