Nominations are now open for CDC Gaming and Global Gaming Women’s 4th annual 10 Women Rising in Gaming, recognizing the achievements of women in the gaming industry. Nominations close on 25 July, with honorees to be notified on 15 August.

CDC Gaming is Inside Asian Gaming’s sister company, and IAG will assist CDC in the creation of its annual “Day Zero Party” in Las Vegas on 5 October 2025, the eve of G2E. This year’s “Day Zero Party” will not only recognize the 10 Women Rising in Gaming for 2025 but will be held at a brand-new venue, to be announced soon.

Nominations are welcome from across the global gaming landscape, including, but not limited to, casino operators (both brick-and-mortar and online), gaming manufacturers, lotteries, sports betting organizations, suppliers, law firms and marketing agencies that support the industry.

“By opening nominations for this year’s class, CDC Gaming and Global Gaming Women are opening the dialogue to the industry to uplift individuals who not only embody personal development, but whose presence resonates in the workplace,” said Cory Roberts, publisher of CDC Gaming. “Each class continues to showcase the amazing talent from every corner of the gaming industry.”

To be considered for 10 Women Rising in Gaming: Class of 2025, nominees must meet the following minimum criteria:

  2. Leadership:Exhibits strong leadership qualities, such as serving as a role model, inspiring colleagues, promoting diversity and inclusion, or advocating for meaningful change within the industry.
  3. Impact & Contributions:Has made a meaningful and measurable impact on the gaming industry through innovation, strategic initiatives, or contributions that have advanced the field or organization.
  4. Overcoming Adversity:Has overcome personal or professional obstacles, showing resilience, determination, and perseverance in pursuit of excellence.
  5. Community Engagement:Actively involved in community or industry service, including mentoring, volunteering, charitable efforts, or advocacy for social causes that extend beyond the nominees’ professional responsibilities.
  6. Longevity & Consistency:Demonstrates a consistent career-long record of excellence and dedication, maintaining high performance and contributing meaningfully to the industry over time.

“At Global Gaming Women, we are continually inspired by the incredible talent and tenacity of women across the gaming industry,” said GGW Executive Vice President Pam Buckley. “10 Women Rising in Gaming is a powerful celebration of leadership, innovation, and resilience, and we are thrilled to once again partner with CDC Gaming to spotlight these remarkable achievements. Honoring these rising stars not only elevates their individual stories, it strengthens the future of our industry as a whole.”

CDC Gaming and Global Gaming Women encourage submissions (nominate an individual here) that reflect diverse talents within the field, from entrepreneurs to professionals at organizations of all sizes. 10 Women Rising in Gaming aims to honor leadership, innovation and dedication that are shaping the future of gaming.
