The AGEM Index – a monthly stock performance guide comprising 12 global gaming suppliers – grew by 9.3 % month-on-month or 162.11 points to 1,903.29 points in June, with Konami and Aristocrat seeing the largest positive contributions.
The index was also 43.1% or 573.10 points higher compared with the same month in 2024, with 10 of the 12 AGEM Index companies reporting year-on-year stock price increases.
The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), which compiles the index, said the largest positive contributor to the index in June was Konami, which saw its stock price increase by 16.1% month-on-month – resulting in an 88.88-point gain to the index. Aristocrat also saw its stock price increase by 4.4%, leading to a 44.83-point increase for the index.
The largest negative contributor to the index was Transact Technologies with a 3.7% decrease in stock price resulting in a 0.03-point loss to the AGEM Index.
All three major US stock indices increased from the prior month in June. The NASDAQ rose by 5.9% over the month, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a 5.2% increase and the S&P 500 a 4.9% improvement.
