Light & Wonder’s Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary James Sottile will retire from the company at the end of the year, with his last day of service set for 31 December 2025.
The company has announced Susan Dawson, current Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, as its new CLO and Corporate Secretary upon Sottile’s retirement.
Sottile will, however, provide consulting services to Light & Wonder for one year through 2026 – at a monthly retainer of US$11,959 – in order to ensure a smooth transition of his duties and responsibilities.
Dawson, the company explained, first joined Light & Wonder based out of the UK in 2012 and has served as Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel since 2018. She will relocate to Las Vegas as part of her new role.
