Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings met this week with the Chinese Ambassador to the United States, Xie Feng, to discuss topics including China’s economic development and Sino–U.S. economic and trade relations.
The Chinese Embassy in the United States released details of the meeting on its website, noting that Xie and Billings exchanged views on issues of mutual concern.
Wynn maintains close ties to China, operating two integrated resorts in Macau – Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace – under one of the SAR’s six gaming concessions. Macau accounts for nearly 50% of the company’s group-wide revenues.
In the first quarter of 2025, Wynn Resorts reported operating income of US$1.7 billion, with its two Macau resorts contributing a combined US$866 million.
Xie Feng succeeded Qin Gang as Chinese Ambassador to the United States in May 2023. This meeting marked his first with an executive from a company operating a gaming business in Macau.
