Malaysia’s Genting Group has led the region’s gaming companies in the second annual Fortune Southeast Asia 500 – a ranking of the largest companies in Southeast Asia by revenue.
Genting was ranked 53rd on this year’s list, one place higher than in 2024 on a 1.6% increase in revenue to US$6.06 billion.
Also rising on the 2025 list was Bloomberry Resorts Corp, operator of Philippines’ IRs Solaire Resort Entertainment City and Solaire Resort North, which jumped 18 places to 289th on revenues of US$921 million. Bloomberry noted in an announcement that a total of 40 companies from the Philippines were included in the 2025 list and that it was the 32nd largest by revenue among Philippine names.
NagaCorp, operator of NagaWorld in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, climbed 31 places to 418th with revenues of US$562.5 million.
One of the biggest movers on this year’s list was Philippine gaming technology firm DigiPlus Interactive, which just sneaked onto the 2024 list in 482nd with revenues of US$490.2 million but soared to 223rd in 2025 with revenues of US$1.31 billion.
Philippine conglomerate Alliance Global Group, whose assets include Manila’s Newport World Resorts, ranked 92nd on this year’s list with group-wide revenues of US$3.90 billion.
Fortune said its Fortune Southeast Asia 500 list “provides a snapshot of a region ready to take advantage of global supply chain shifts and booming industries like mining, EVs and AI.
“The seven countries in last year’s inaugural Southeast Asia 500 list – Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines and Cambodia – return in 2025 and continue to make their mark on the region’s economy. Together, the Southeast Asia 500 companies are playing an increasingly important role in global supply chains – capturing manufacturing capacity shifting from China, which is drawing significant capital flows and reshaping global trade dynamics.”
